When Boo was going through his daily photos (SLT) there was a picture of him using a blender to mix cake batter. I asked him what he was doing in the picture? "Boo is IRONING the cake" So did I run out and get flour and eggs and ??start baking for the family. NO, I just down loaded a lot of pictures of blenders from the powercity website and made him learn the vocabulary for next time! By the time he left the "special school" he had made more cakes than I ever will. Now he learns life skills like making noodles and rinsing his bowl in his ABA school, and all cakes and cookies come out of a packet; where they belong.

Love it, one more of us, one less of them. I know the song you mentioned, by Phil Collins. There's another song and the title and artist is "Just Another Day in Paradise" by Phil Vassar. The words are pretty relevant to my life.Daniellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17329492507686109512noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5648240333090559325.post-19516169539568946872008-07-11T13:39:00.000+01:002008-07-11T13:39:00.000+01:00Well done sis. it looks good so far.Well done sis. it looks good so far.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5648240333090559325.post-88413077258823141912008-07-11T06:14:00.000+01:002008-07-11T06:14:00.000+01:00Hey you left a post about the picture of the two l...Hey you left a post about the picture of the two little girls reading on my blog. Strange how we come across peoples blogs eh! When I looked to see where you were from I noticed Ireland. My maiden name is Downey and my family stems from Irish. Small world! I work at an elementary school that has an autistic class of 8 children. I love them! They are such special spirits and belong to such special families. I am sure each day is full of lots of interesting adventures for you. Nice to meet across the wires!Nielson Familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12947641299650705338noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5648240333090559325.post-48992149564632676532008-07-11T01:24:00.000+01:002008-07-11T01:24:00.000+01:00Just wanted to thankyou for your comment on my new...Just wanted to thankyou for your comment on my new page... hope everything is well with you :)

ps.
